Yes, after MGS4 was released Ps3 was outselling the 360 for a few months though I think, wasnt it? Not until the price cut did 360 take back it's spot and Ps3 hasn't had a good week since. You also forgot Ps3 had a price cut around MGS4 as well. I don't think until Ps3 lowers price will it have a chance of beating 360 ww again and even if it does, 360 can cut it's price on elite models. Don't quote me it's just a guess.
Sony likes releasing big games to sell hw but the problem is those are usually short term boosts, their price cut boosted it steadily for a while.
