To be honest I am a tad crestfallen. Though I wasn't overly ecstatic about the holiday road map to begin with. I would say it felt like too much of one thing and not enough of another. To make the situation worse is the blinding ignorance. We know so little about most of the games. Especially the ones that are left that it is hard to get excited. Leaving one with that feeling of disquiet.
We knew so little about the games leaving, and even less about the ones that are going to fill their voids. Games such as Risen, Assassins Creed 2, Wet, Borderlands, and so on. Ignorance is most definitely not bliss. Not to mention the games that have yet to be given a firm date. Right now we are just left with a empty sack. No telling what exactly is inside. Do we have a handful of great games, and no middle ground below the best. This could be a good holiday season or a bad one. We will not have a clue until we get more details about these games.
