Not really it's just another step in your Sony hatred crusade.
Facts are that it's possible to do a lot with SPUs.
I leave it up to you to decide whether third party programmers are idiots incable of it (not too likely) or if companies force them to do simplest ports to cash-in.
Edit: And I'm pretty sure they didn't say it was easy.
