Don't forget that next year april a buyer will walk into the store to buy either a PS3 or 360 it will see MGS4 (probably a great, great game) but will also see Halo3, BioShock, Mass Effect and Gears of War. Then no AAA titles for PS3 for a while. Then September (with some luck GT5) same story, GT5 vs PGR4 and Forza 2. Final Fantasy isn't the system seller it used to be anymore. FF7 was the first of its type, ingame movies, 3discs, epic story. It's not new anymore and the competition in RPG land has increased dramatically. (I think most people agree that Tales of Symphonia was a way better RPG then FF12). Wii is not so much different from 360 competition wise. It sells like no console before and has great games announced and will see much more. (Like I mentioned, Capcom was only the first to move a game from PS3 to Wii, but more will follow. Of course it's easy to bash Wii on its graphic, but be prepared to be totally humiliated saleswise. Super Mario Galaxy, Brawl, Mario Kart and WiiFit will trash PS3. Fatal Frame, Monster Hunter 3, Tales of Symph2, RE:UC, Project O, FF:CC, Zack & Wiki are A+ 3rd party exclusives already announced. Don't be surprised to see Mega Man, Castlevania, Skies of Arcadia and many more arriving on Wii. |
Good thing that I play with graphics and playability and not with sales .Then I would be worried that the Wii was beating the PS3 .Just as I would have to be worried that the Tamagotchi could beat it too if it pointed again its ugly face .
Next year the 360 wont have nearly any exclusives ,and some of the games that are now exclusive wont be anymore .Lost Planet ,probably Bioshock ,Eternal Sonata ,etc etc .Soon the only games exclusive for the 360 will be Gears of War ,Halo 3 ,Forza 2 ,PGR4 and Mass Effect .Thats it ,MS own games and some financed second party games .Sony will have more of these .Maybe we are playing not wanting to see whats comings but MGSIV,Gran Turismo 5,Singstar ,Buzz !,Unreal 3,Final Fantasy XIII,Killzone 2,Little Big Planet ,Socom Confrontation,WIpeout HD ,White Knight Story ,Tekken 6 and many more will be out next year ....along with all the other big multiplattform stuff that will be most of the 360 library then and the ports of the games now exclusive to the 360 as Eternal Sonata and Lost Planet and probably Bioshock .By end 2008 the PS3 lineup will be at least as good as the 360 one ,probably better .
Its mad how when questioned about the Wii lineup the Nintendo fans can only say mario mario mario mario.Mario Galaxy is bound less than a month away ,Wii Fit the same ,Mario Smash and Kart are for the first three months of 2008 ,as well as Nights .Mario and Sonic Olympics end of this year .I would like to one Nintendo fan to point to some games coming after march 2008 please .Now we have to believe that spin offs as Crystal Chronicles or cash ins as Soul Calibur legends are the real deal and games as the before cited PS3 ones and all the massive multiplattform stuff as Burnout Paradise ,Soul Calibur IV ,Battlefield Bad Company ,Bionic Commando ,Resident Evil 5 ,Silent Hill 5 ,Devil May Cry 4 ,Condemned 2 ,Soldier of Fortune ,Fallout 3 and all the other massive stuff coming to both PS3 and 360 is just some consolation price for not selling more than the special edition of Wii Fit with Jane Fonda on the cover .
