Do people just think the Ps3 is just going to stop selling consoles? It's only in it's 3rd year it's gotten an impressive 24million units sold despite the constant slagging from people about the price etc etc. The PlayStation Consoles have a 10+yr life span, so the Ps3 has a good 7-8yrs ahead of it.

Do you really think Sony will produce the PS3 for the next 8 years? I mean 10 whole years of no profit? You think they'll really do that?

Yeah, Sony will always make a loss off PS3! /sarcasm

Oh VGC, you give me many laughs. XD

When do you think the PS3 will begin to profit? In three more years? Sometime during the next gen?

The PS3 has already started to become profitable.  It costs less than $400 (Just under $300 if Sony's Executive Vice President Nobuyuki Oneda's comments are correct) to make, so they have started to make profits on it.  Of course let's just look away from Microsoft's losses.  In 2007, they lost almost 2 Billion because of the 360.  In 2008, they made a profit of 426 million.  Sorry but that's still in the red, overall.
