Where's the proof that Sony is losing money with Blu-Ray?

Sony´s profit per game would be higher if PS3 games were recorded in dvd instead of BR disc. I just want to know how much they lose per game by releasing it in BR and not in DVD, because dvd´s cost production is lower than BR.

How do you know Blu-Ray's affecting SONY's profit per game by anything significant compared to 360 games???

Even if it is a little higher, how can you say their losing money on BD????

LINKS!!!

i´m not saying it´s significant, i´m wondering if it is significant or not.

Realistically, a Blu-ray disc happens to cost twice as much as a regular DVD. Take for instance, the recent release of "The Dark Knight". The BD version costs S$59.90 and the 2-Disc special edition DVD costs only S$29.90 not taking account into some special deals offered by retailers.

If a blue ray disc costs twice a dvd ( or more , see the prices for die hard 4 some posts ago), should be true that its prodution cost is only 5-10% higher?

So it is higher than 360, but is it a litlle bit higher or more than that? That´s my question.
