Most people think that having the HDD(developers included) is actually a benefit not a hassle.
Sony also don't charge you for for hella expensive HDD like the competition.
On the PS3 you can get 500GB of storage for less than the price of two games.
Quit complaining as your are less hindered here to purchase digital content on this system than any other this generation. Be happy you have the least expensive option it could be memory sticks or something.
