Home can take up the same amount of space as a large game install if you download every area to the drive buffer while using it even though it clears once you shut down. There are a lot of areas in Home currently, and it just keeps expanding.
But claiming this is in any way a shortcoming or failure on the part of Sony is just Full of Stupid.
Delete some stuff if you want to use and complain about how pointless Home is or just buy an $85 bullet and get yourself a 500GB drive. Problem permanently solved.
