For those that keep mentioning the 10 million and 13 million figures: Activision ALWAYS uses NPD, Charttrack and GFK to track their retail sales. The problem is that NPD, Charttrack and GFK only track a handful of countries, leaving out dozens of PC-centric countries and Digital distribution sales. You guys seriously NEED to look at the calculations I made for the 7 million figure, which I estimated that PC sold atleast 2 million of those 7 millions copies that Actvision had tracked, and it didn't even count the dozens of PC-centric countries and digital sales!

Hell, Activision even mention on their Financial reports that they only use NPD, Charttrack and GFK to verify sales in US and Europe. When Activision said that COD4 sold 7 millions, they specifically said that they had used NPD, Charttrack and GFK to estimate it (and it wasn't an worldwide figure).

Again, when they say a certain figure, it means only from some of the countries tracked by NPD, Chartrack and GFK.

so apparently activision don't know how many copies of their games they are making and were the shipments go? not to mention they apparently don't know math either since they can't figure out how many copies were sold by looking at their revenue. also they don't give a shit about things like steam i guess. so how do they exist if they don't know how many copies they've produced, how many copies they've sold and apparently someone is stealing from them looking at their fiscal reports since CoD4 on pc sold so well and they didn't receive any money from the missing copies.
