Didn't MS themselves say they would match Sony price cut for price cut?
Also, I don't think Sony will drop the price with the slim so they can attempt to make a profit. If sales don't budge with a slim release then I'm guessing they would drop price.
I think It's almost guaranteed at this point MS will stay second place this gen.
It's just that simple.
