It is rather frustrating seeing the FPS emerge as the game of choice for "hardcore hype" this generation. If its not walking past Gamestop posters then it'll be glancing over the screens of the next must have "big boy" game on this site that you'll see nothing but necks thicker than heads, chain swords or space guns and either monsters or aliens... Maybe even a hot scantily clad chick or two.
Remember when gaming was more than just trying to outdo Halo and God of War?
