Obama has truly led the USA down the wrong path. Rampant frivolous spending, smug hipocracy, broken promises and weakening of the private sector will be the legacy of his administration.
That said, McCain was no better. The problem with the current political system here is that NIETHER candidate that runs in the general election has been good for quite some time. Look at it this way, with the issues Bush was already having by 2004, the DNC would have had to pick a special kind of candidate to lose to him. They suceeded handily with Kerry.
