The 360 by default is darker, so people adjust their Tv's for that, now when they plug the PS3 in they do not adjust the colours back to the standard level so all PS3 games appear like this in most tests done by sites. And raising or lowering the sharpness even slightly can increase the jagginess or blurryness and make all the tests useless.
