Well if you want to argue semantics over the word "failure" in order to justify that the PS3 isn't one compared to the incredible success of the PS2 and what was once expected of it then more power to you.

its not semantics, i resect your Opinion but the very fact that the PS3 is not the ps2 just like the xbox360 is not the xbox

I am not saying the ps3 is not a failure. far from it what i am saying failure is subjective on what part the ps3 has failed at. your trying to lump the ps3 as a whole as a failure when that is subjective on what part of the PS3 has failed at.

NO iN MY opinion just because the RROD happen to have an adverse effect on the xbox360 does not mean the system as a whole has failed because the sales of the xbox360 surpassed the fist xbox install base in half the time would you call that a failure?

Some may say it was because it did not double the first Xbox's install base already. I am not saying that because the XBOX360 happened to be over $300.00 and it still beat out the first xbox's install base in half the time that's impressive to me.

the term Failure is subjective. that's all i am saying I do not agree with you on the PS3 has FAILED as a whole if your are implying that .

i agree the PS3  it has failed in many thing's.

Everything IN LIFE has its failure's but everything does not completely fail at everything!
