It's got a dedicated community but most are giving up on it now, the game hasn't had anywhere near enough support and after almost a year it still only has 7 maps - and this is an online only game.
Siant Six have ****ed up Socom and I can't see Confrontation ever really taking off again, I still play it as my clan and such are cool dudes and the EU got it later but my God they really screwed up.
