Personally, I'm just tired of violent games, period. And that includes Halo and God of War. Certainly there's a market for them (young males) and I do enjoy playing a lot of them, but the industry just became too dominated by them by the end of the last generation. Especially war games, gosh, how many war games do we need?
Ironically, I don't mind Manhunt as it's a very niche market product. Really it should be AO though, I am disappointed the ERSB dropped the rating to M, but on the other hand, Sony & Nintendo wouldn't allow an AO game to be on their systems which, I didn't agree with either.
Thankfully, this generation is pulling in a wider audience and with it, hopefully, a wider variety of games.
