Your not alone but based on me experience your in the minority. My friends and I enjoy the gorefest because it looks so brutal like the chainsaw in gears. It just looks nasty that it makes the ladies skirm like it was a horror movie. I don't know but head shots in gears are very satisfying because of the gore. It would just be a plain boring headshot without it. I mean not every game has to be like this and the art direction determines how much violence and gore you want the audience to experience based on the game. To answer your question more direct, I am not tired of violence.
