I never got what everybody's problem was with the FF7 summons...the longest one was still less than a minute. And you could only get it by completing a side quest that easily took 10 to 15 straight hours. And as much as I like Link, Cloud would beat the shit out of him. And which Link, anyway? Every one of them from every game is different...except for the first two.
Anyway, everyone complaining about Cloud's materia and equipment, Link can never beat Ganondorf without getting at the very least some super-special sword. In the first game it took silver arrows.

Omnislash owns. As do Cross-Slash, Climhazzard, Blade Beam, Meteorain, and Finishing Touch.
And lastly, who they've defeated. Ganondorf vs Sephiroth. Sephiroth would win. (and I'm kind of sick of everyone calling him girly and wussy, no one on this site, yet, but seriously, long hair and lack of bulging muscles does not a wussy make). Watch any cutscene with him in it. Or better yet, just watch AC. Or that Crisis Core video. I don't think I've ever really seen Ganondorf do ANYTHING cool except get killed by Link.
PS---Anyone who has the Gamecube Zelda Collectors Edition, did you notice that they turned Ganondorf's blood green for the scene where Link kills him, in OoT?
