It is fair on a fighter like this.

Anyway, i can see why they gave the PS3 version a better score.

A good D-Pad in fighter games is necessary, unless of course you have the arcade stick.

Well, you can use a PS2 controller on the Xbox 360, fyi. I am right now. Basing a games review on one of multiplat controller options, just because it is the most commonly used, is dumber than a brick full of shits.

So, because the Xbox 360 version of the game, was reviewed with the Xbox 360 standard controller... its a shit review?

Only if you deduct points, as well as fail to mention the alternatives, when comparing a game to a competitor, all the while praising the competitors controller, despite the fact, that you can use said controller on the Xbox 360 as well.

It's like me reviewing World of Warcraft, and complaining that there aren't enough buttons on my mouse. The game obviously requires more buttons, and thus, I take points off, because my standard 3 button PC mouse isn't the best controller option.

Or if they don't like that, why not use a...I dunno...fighting game controller.

Should they take points off Twilight Princess because I didn't want to use my Gamecube controller, and was forced to waggle?

...well Carl?

What the HELL are you rambling about? You seriously  believe that one should have to buy an arcade stick for a PSN/XBL game to be able to enjoy it to the fullest on the 360? Well, if you have the money to throw around, be my guest... And your analogies are just plain retarded. Everyone with a PC have keyboard (for WoW), and if you wanted to use your gamecube controller on a NEW SYSTEM (Wii), you could just buy the GC version of Twilight Princess and play it on the Wii or simply just play it on the GC... You are not forced to waggle in any way, and besides, if you buy the Wii you are well aware of the controller alternatives that come with the system... Try harder please, PLEASE! Your arguments really amuse me...

And yeah, the average XBOX 360 user sure wants to buy $80 peripherals to use PS2 controllers on their system... You are just deluded, and if you need to spend all that cash to be able to enjoy experiences on the 360 (not saying you have to), you should just do yourself a favor and drop the system because of all the hidden expenses you have to put up with...

Seriously... ...... .... ......... ....... ... Zenfoldor... ..... ............... ....

OT however: FAIR of IGN to take points of the 360 version because of bad controls. In my opinion it should have been more points off. A decent D-Pad is essential in every fighting game if you do not have an arcade stick. From my own experience, I play Street Fighter 2 on my PSP quite regularly, and when I had the oldest model of the PSP, I simply could NOT use the D-Pad and had to use the stick... I did not like it. This however changes with the PSP-2000 where the D-Pad was much better and enhanced my gameplay experience a lot!

I hope we will see more reviews like this in the future, no matter which console that get scored lower. This is a way to seperate multiplats from each other on the HD-Twins.
