Greedy and money-hungry applies to Microsoft, A company focussed on profit is Nintendo.
The way they achieve these goals determines how I categorize them.
That's why I think Microsoft is evil, and takes advantage of it's customers.
It's kind of like a businessman and a drug dealer.
I mean after all they are just both trying to sell things to get money right? The method they use to get that money is what counts.

Of course, Profit = Revenue - expenses.
It's obvious it's the only reason These companies, or any company for that matter, exists, heck it's the only reason we do anything worthwile really (for the most part). The way you state things it's like all companies are greedy money-whores, which soudns extremely negative.
I don't have a problem with that, what I do have a problem with, like i've stated earlier, is the method a company uses to get that money. Microsoft's tactics, i find, are insulting. Which is why I, and many others, hate them as a company. I love their products (Windows, xbox) But I despise the company behind it.

Ok, I skimmed most of that, but I fail to see what is unique to Microsoft in a lot of those (and definitely very little for the gaming division). Sure, someone decided to put forth enough effort to do a Wiki on Microsoft criticism to make things easier to find, but with more dedicated research Sony and Nintendo can be called out on probably about the same number of indiscretions (things that actually affect US as consumers directly). So why are people so insulted about Microsoft's and not others?

Do you know what cultural means? In this case it means that microsoft comes from a more dishonorable culture where there are more "cheating" if I may call it that, than where Nintendo and Sony are.

And heres the fun thing. microsoft has a more dishonorable background then any of the 3, THAT WE KNOW OF. This is also pretending that the idea of "honor" still exists these days. Nearly every big company does exactly the same things Microsoft does, but aren't called out and bitched at because of it. People used to try and dig and dig and dig to find as much bad about Microsoft as they possibly can. If they did the same to say Sony or Nintendo, I could only imagine what they'd find. However if I misinterpreted your post speaking about Microsoft being American being dishonorable, please tell me so I can report your post.
