M. Night Shamalyan is directing the movie, and he hasn't made anything decent since the Sixth Sense. I would not keep my hope up to high

That's obviously very subjective. Signs is one of my favorite horror movie (I actually think it's better than the Sixth Sense). I also loved The Village but didn't really liked Unbreakable. My hopes are really high and I'm sure I will not be disappointed.

OT: I never ever watched that show. I think it's just too kiddy. But I sure will watch the upcoming movie anyway.

I'm going to pretend I never saw the last line.

It's too bad for you because that's a rather interesting opinion. You don't like honesty?

I would like to point out that the show is targeted for a 6-11 years old audience.

Before going off-topic again I'd like to weigh in here. Usually I hate this whole resumé thing but here goes- I'm 23 years old. My favourite current shows are Dexter, House, Lost, Supernatural so yes you can say I have a thing for blood, horror/thriller and story. And Avatar dutifully delivered on the story part. More so then House or Lost at least. There was so much wisdom, backstory, culture and mythology going on that I was honestly intrigued. It helped that the fight-scenes were well-choreagraphed and a joy to watch.

Like games, shows can be targeted at a group but enjoyed by everyone. I'm sure you will not agree but Pokemon was targeted at kids 6-14 yet, how many of us are adults and still playing it today? Has anyone out-grown Mario? Harry Potter, aimed at teens... how many adults do you see lined up at the bookstore when a new version comes out - at least half the audience. The list is quite extensive and I know there is some medium you, Boutros, enjoy that is not targeted at you.

Well said.
