| Arkk said: I respect your opinion, but I have owned a Nissan vehicle (two now) for about 3 to 4 years, and I feel the complete opposite. I feel that Nissan gives consumers the best drivers cars out there. Who really wants to own a Honda or Mazda (or GM, Dodge etc.) over a Nissan? They have been building quality vehicles for a very long time. Look at their current lineup. The new model Altimas are amazing (I own one), the 350s are a beast and are almost limitless in the custimization department, Sentra SE-R is a little rocket with a super cheap price-tag... really, if you are looking for a great sporty vehicle, look no further than Nissan. Now, look at the GT-R... if I had the dough I would snatch it up in a second... anyone want to lend me the cash? |
You know, I agree with this too. I know I just called the Altima and Maxima boats, but boats compared to what? I mean the Altima is a boat compared to my Miata, but look at the other cars in its class. Camry and Accord? And the domestic sedans are hardly what I would call "nimble" either. I think Mazda is the only real competitor with Nissan in terms of offering driver satisfaction, and even so, I think the Mazda6 feels kinda washy.
My last car, btw, was a 1991 Nissan Stanza, and it was fantastic. Direct steering feel with plenty of feedback, tight clutch uptake, and plenty of torque. And my parents own a 2003 or 2004 Altima, which I actually test drove for them before they bought it.
