Yeah, a Windows installation CD so you can start from scratch. I've never seen a computer take that long too boot without having a bunch of crap in it. There's a possibility you could have viruses and what not.
A good program for checking malware is Malware Bytes. Avast is my personal favorite virus software.
Both programs have freeware editions by the way. They work great as I've used them to fix countless computers.
