Reasons:

- Halo 3 boost wears off in October for 360 - but momentum continues. Sales won't double in Nov from Oct because the biggest game was released in Sept, and because PS3 becomes $400/$500 (and the $500 version includes a game) November 2.

Do you really think the 360 sales are going to drop that much for October? It has already sold 120k this past week (down only 5% from the previous week). The Halo effect doesn't seem to be wearing off very quickly. The 360 would need to drop to 80k/week (-30%) in order to hit 360k for October. With the holiday bundle coming up, I don't see that happening.

Yeah, I don't really see the 360 numbers being so low either. October sees whatever left over Halo momentum there is (and there will be some, no way that sales increased for 12 days and went back to normal) as well as the release of the new bundles. And if marketed right, Mass Effect could put up similar results as Gears of War. Not only that, but I simply don't see the sales increase from last year being that small.
