one thing to keep in mind about what your viewing, the tv might not be capable of 1080p. i'm refering to that toysRus demo tv.
if anyone doubts the ps3's ability to do 1080p just look at the selection of 1080p games. compare that to any other system out there and you should realize the ps3 is the only one pushing it.
is it needed? i dunno, i know i spend 2k on a 1080p tv. do i think it was worth it? YES!
