No, actually that's NOT the point.  If you had read the headline, you would know that the point is only that the 360 has now outsold the Atari 2600, which used to hold the crown for the highest selling American made console.  That honor now belongs to the Xbox 360.  Plain and simple.  It has nothing to do with your allegiance to Japanese console makers.  Chill out.
