I think it easily will.

I mean PS3 is finally getting titles like MGS4 and *possibly* FFXIII in Japan, two heavy hitters that really would have benefitted it this year, and some other hyped games like KillZone 2 that may or may not be worth the actual hype, along with some new IPs like LittleBigPlanet.

Wii is also getting some heavy third party support, you've got the Square Enix triad of Dragon Quest Swords-FFCC: Crystal Bearers-Chocobo's Dungeon 3 for NA and probably parts of Europe with possibly more from them later on in the year (Seiken Densetsu 5 plz), Okami Wii, *possibly* Monster Hunter 3 in Japan, WiiWare offerings which we've only seen a fraction of, Nintendo games besides SSBB like Mario Kart Wii, Disaster: Day of Crisis, and some shoe-ins like Animal Crossing and Kirby, and that's just from what they've actually announced.

360 might not be getting another record breaker like Halo 3 but it is getting some noteworthy variety like Infinite Undiscovery, Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom, Fable 2, possibly Bionic Commando in 08 (also on PS3/PC) not to mention rumored GeoW 2.

Honestly the consoles should just start hitting their stride in 2008.
