Lair is in 1080p but it has slowdowns, so I have yet to be convinced that the PS3 can really handle 1080p properly. That could explain why most games don't use it.

Ratchet & Clank can do 1080p at 60fps, Ninja Gaiden Sigma can do 1080p at 60fps and the same with nba 2k8, and their are more games coming out that are going to be at 1080p and 60fps

An unreleased game, a remake from the Xbox, and a game which has terrible graphics... Not a great 1080p lineup there ;)

EDIT - oops, I thought you were talking about PS3's basketball launch title, don't know about 2k8, so sorry for that.

If Ratchet and Clank really can pull it off without slowdowns, then I'll gladly accept that.

 

I can see your point and agree with the ninja gaiden sigma. I played the demo of Ratchet and Clank and i noticed no framerate problems so i feel very strong that this game will pull it off. I was talking about 2k8 and NBA 08 sucks in my opinion.
