I am against faith based schools.  The only thing i disagree with is your logic.

Demanding facts for choices in governce would lead to unworkable governence.

whats your logic then?

A government should not provide services for a specific group of people unless those people are handicapped in some way since everybody pays taxes.

People should be eligable for all government programs.  (except those for the disabled.)

If your wondering how you get around welfare and stuff like that... you do it by giving away food and clothing instead of money.

oh, ok, i get that, i also suggested that idea for welfare myself in another thread a while back, lol, my logic may well be flawed, i dont think things through enough sometimes.

now that im thinking about it, that approach to welfare makes much sense, we could give everyone the bare minimum they need to survive, a home, healthcare, education, clothing, food, water, electricity, public transport, but if they want extra, they would need to find employment, once they do, they can get the nice things they want like TV's and stuff, this would also get the government to either create more jobs itself or to give private companies incentives to do so, of course, it means tax on what you do earn may be high, but as you get the essentialls anyway, you cant really complain, plus if you worked the tax system out properly, the more the job pays, the more you earn and the more you pay in tax.
