imo, the government is obliged to provide everyone with the option of education to get a job, everyone includes people of any faith or indeed no faith.

Shouldn't you be for faith based schools then? What if ones faith says that one must learn from a respected member of their religion?
To say "they're being picky they should just go to regular schools" is not really giving them an option.

any place of educaiton should be for everyone imo, faith schools preclude certain people, so would be against that, so i oppose them strongly.

if they can prove to me that there religon is based upon facts and that failing to do so will definetley result in them being punished by there deity, yes, till then, no.

That's a pretty tall order... and one you don't hold a lot of other government run programs to.
For example National Healthcare. There are no facts that prove it's a good idea, no data to suggest it's really helpful etc.
National Healthcare is provided by the UK because the people of England believe healthcare is something everyone should have.
This is not based on any fact.

even if we follow your logic, faith schools still get no funding as most people dont want them too, atleast according to polls, most people do want the NHS, so basically, your logic only gets you to the same place as me, just via another route.
