PS2 acctually has one of the lowest failure rates, lower then gamecube and xbox.

Source? I've had my gamecube for years, no problem. PS2 has to be repaced around 4 times before I got a PS3.

Also, many people did "damage tests" on the consoles to see which would be the winner. PS2 died the first round, but a GC literally cut in half still worked.
