That just shows that they are willing to let their community know what they are working on and that their fans can follow the development. Like for instance, fans of the Forza series. I believe they had NO info or NO place to go to find out info or screens or anything about their upcoming game that they waited so long for. I don't think all this secret stuff is so good. I want to follow my games in development and know what the future bring so I can read and discuss about it on forums. I don't want the games I look forward to to be in the dark and then 3 months before release you get to know about it. I mean, I like surprises, and I think some games should be held secret, but not all. I love how Sony plays their hands. |
Ummm... Forza has been known since May which gives it a good 5 months. There's a difference between announcing a game years in advance and announcing a game making a release window ( wasn't GT5 orginally a launch title?). And its was more than obivous that Forza 3 was gonna be release. Of course fanboys tend to be blind and only see what they wanna see. I'm pretty sure if MS wasn't confident that FOrza 3 is gonna deliver they wouldn't announced it the way they did... same goes for Crackdown 2...which oh look has a 8 month - a year promo period.
