And so this leads me to the conclusion that believing in a personal god is a waste of time, because you have a one in a million chance of getting it right, so why even bother devoting your life to just one if you're going to do it? surely, the scientific view should be much more important than what is essentially ancient primitive beliefs with no evidence?
