Kitamura is known for creating matrix-like cutscenes. And what you posted actually proves my point. He wanted Kitamura to do it his way anyways.

 

Your original post makes it sound like the cutscenes in MGS: TS were Kojima's original vision for the cutscenes, which is clearly not the case.  But I am sorry if I misinterpreted your comment.
