Except that it is revenue, not profit.
Console games seem to be selling more and more, AND they have a higher price on average than last generation too... so revenue for console games (home and handheld) is increasing despite their lost profits.
MMO revenue as a percentage of PC games is probably huge, but even so there are other PC games being bought that contribute to game revenue too, so PC game revenue in total is probably over half of all game revenue. And that is the USA too, where PC gaming is probably less popular (by percentage) than most other countries of the world.
So this is very impressive.
(Actually wasn't there something at the end of the fiscal year, or possibly before that, about PC game revenue being ~$10 billion, compared to video game revenue (all consoles) at ~$10.4 billion)
