MS is in a great position this gen. They can choose what games they want to publish...
Ninja Gaiden was pretty hot last gen...they gave it a shot this gen and it wasn't selling so they dropped it.
Gears of War is the shzzle this gen...and they have the chance to keep it exclusive as long as they see fit. If in 2 years some other franchise beats Gears 2 in awesomeness...they can decide not to go publishing future chapters.
Sam with Bungie...if MS thinks their game will be a hit, believe me they will publish it.
