I don't know if we can correlate rampant growth in Eastern Europe, but we can say:
- Flat tax hasn't ruined their system
- Progressive taxes haven't helped us
Worst case scenario, FT wouldn't change what America is. Best case scenario it provides a much better system of tax collection.
