isn't Gt5 doing rally racing?

Are you serious?????

That isn't rallying. GT5 is probably 3 dirt tracks at most, WRC cars that race on those Dirt tracks. Las t time I checked WRC consisted of traveling the world visiting different countries doing numerous stages, having to fix as you go. GT5 hs NOT got rally. IT has the rally liscense used for a few races on some dirt. thats it. Same as the Nascar. 16 cars max ( not 40 + like Nascar ) and only a few ovals. But no championship or particualr license rules.

I would hope they'd put more effort into the rally mode this time around now that they have the offical license.

Spartan is trolling, though...

Yes. I didn't bring GT5 in this thread. Spartan did. And for the record, I have never once viewed WRC or Nascar in GT5 as a game with a 3 in 1 package. If it really was a 3 in 1 package, we would be getting essentially a Dirt type game, a Nascar 2010 type game and a GT4 type game all in GT5. 15 years of dev anyone?

You know it Spartan and I know it. GT5 will have the odd rally track in it's career progression. Every now and then you will race one of the WRC cars you own on a dirt track. Same with Nascar. There will not be a career mode for WRC nor a Championship with al the world courses for the rally. We know theres around 100 tracks in GT5 not 300.
