I've made friends in RFoM, back when it came out, i can tell you there was not a single kid with a mic playing this game for the first 8months i had it.
Made friends and joined a clan back when CoD4 came out, i could not even begin to tell you how many countless friend requests and people wanting me to join their clan i had.
Made a bunch of good friends in R2 and joined their clan. Many hours a day of co-op with a full room of friends was no doubt the most fun i had with my PS3.
I'm not really a chatty person and i had no problems so i imagine a chatty player would make them fast.
