this ! I don't know how they did it ( can u explain me ? did they use some special technology? ) but Rogue Leader was, is and will be an optical highlight for many years to come. - no jaggies at all - perfect plane models - superb blaster effects - looks like the film
and it is even great in terms of gameplay ! rogue leader is a game for eternity. edit : i've only played the first one, can u recommend me the 2nd aswell ? is it anygood near the 1st ? |
Hah, it looks better than the film
The second third one has the entire first second one with a co-op mode on it... so yes.
The walking levels are a bit dull, but the usual flying and other non-flying levels are great (the AT-ST, and the speeder bikes are awesome), and you can race them in a two player mode, or dogfight either in the sky or using AT-STs. And it looks better than the first one two (it kinda has a slightly more dirty look like the film, while RS2 looked like all the ships has been powerwashed)
I sold some GC games a couple of weeks back, and couldn't bring myself to sell either of them.
And although I still think RS2 is the better game (even though it has less in it RS3 is brought down by having the on foot bits in) my favourite bit of both games is in RS3, that being attacking the super star-destroyer, which is like a cross between the trench run (but much longer) and the Battle of Endor (the best bit from RS2)
