Do you have WMC on your PC? http://support.xbox.com/support/en/us/nxe/GamesandMedia/SharingMedia/MediaCenter/ShareMediaFromMediaCenterPC.aspx
If you don't you could use Zune software or windows media player. Also might need to turn off your anti-virus software.
