No nightsurge, Sony is the smallest holder for the optical disc drive in terms of value for intellectual property actually, I doubt that they even get 10% of (that) pie.
But, Sony has 100% of the IP for the disc, as the disc format is sony's sole creation. So for every disc sold, Sony will get 11 cents. Halo game sales alone will give Sony almost a million dollars
