So, you are correct that MS has been dominant within the PC indusry for a long time, but realize that Sony will have a piece of the pie soon as well and that's just from collecting royalties, not something that they have to really spend a lot of assets on things like production operations etc. Easy money for the good guys. |
They don't get a lot from royalties since you only have to pay a one time fee to manufacture them, also their are more companies involved in making the blu ray drive
