That is just bullshit. I have a good LCD-screen and the only thing which looks bad on it as 480p is the wii. 360/PC does not have that kind of jaggies on 480p setting. Galaxy,conduit and even wii sports has terrible jaggies.

It's not about the screen, it's the TV hardware that upscales the signal.

 

Oh gee, I did not know that?! Do you think that I refer to LCD-panel with "screen"? Of course I was talking about my tv which includes the f*ing scaler.

37" samsung, B656 series.

Manos, Samsung have an awful upscale quality. It has a good screen, bright collors (that many love, I don't like), but the upscale engine is painful.

The best upscale quality I saw was PHillips (9000 series) and Sharp Aquos. If you have any doubts, just grab your Wii and go to a electronic store (with a component cable, of course) and try it. That was how I choose my TV.
