well Queen/Madonna/MJ were all products of the 80's, so I say out of the 3, MJ was the biggest.
Ok, here are some I believe might have the potential to be established megastars:
Mariah Carey and Beyonce
Both are very talented, and at least with Beyonce, she is promoted probably better than anyone else. Jay Z really knows how to produce!
