Couldn't applying logic to the reverse mean that straight people can love the same sex?

Applying reverse logic would require logic to be used in the first place.

You don't don't think it's logical that gay people can go straight?
Happens quite frequently.....

I think we've had this argument before but I still can't understand your point of view on that. Maybe it's because we define gay/bi/straight differently. So I'll try to roughly define how I view things:
- Someone is str8 if he/she is attracted only to persons of the opposite sex
- Someone is gay if he/she is attracted only to persons of the same sex
- Someone is bi if he/she is attraced to both sexes
Considering that... let's say if Bob had relationship with Joe for a certain time. Somewhere along the way, he met Jane, dumped Joe for Jane and then lived happily ever after with Jane. To me Bob hasn't turned from gay to straight, he is bi and he happened to find his perfect mate in Jane.

You can argue that they were bi in the first place, but I've had some people are were pretty set on people are their same sex.
That changed. They went from liking only the same sex to those of the opposite sex. So Gay -> Straight.
Obviously it's going to vary from person to person, but to say that it's illogical for it to happen is silly.

Funny how this scenario happened to the one who believes sexuality change is able to occur. The conservative witnessed someone going straight yet no one else did.
