2699 is a good price though.

Regarding picture quality however, Pioneer Elite Plasma beats them both.

This guy knows what he's talking about. Sony, Samsung and Pioneer are the best in the industry.

Pioneer dropped out of the TV industry and is only making A/V equipment now...

I know! They made arguably the best TVs of any type ever and now they're gone...pick up the remaining stock while possible I guess (and they're STILL incredibly expensive *puzzled*)
