Look up any professional reviews. Most give edge to samsung TVs for price and picture quality.

Besides, Samsung makes the screen for all Sony LCD TVs.

my tv looks like this.

my family bravia still looks like new.

it have warranty but still after 3 fixes, i haven't used my tv for more than month due problems.

and the new sony KD32L5000 even its not a pretty design as my samsung still have better image quality.
