Regarding picture quality however, Pioneer Elite Plasma beats them both.

I heard they are gonna stop making them because of the shitty economy.

I can not say I didn't see it coming, their TV were outrageously expensive and only catered to the true fans of picture quality who's pockets are deeper than the Atlantic :D

I'm not surprised. Plasma is on its way out at this point. But man, if you have more cash than eastern europe, those Pioneer TV's are mindblowing.

Friend of mine has it and when we turn all lights out and play Street figher 2 HD...WOW. Puts my Tv to shame, and below is my TV.
