Red Faction Guerrilla got like NO buzz, and I don't recall being on too many want lists of people.  It has gotten very good reviews also.  I also had to play it, and have had a LOT of fun with it.  I give it a big thumb's up.  It is a sandbox game with carnage and consequences.  It is what I want, and the destruction of buildings is fun.  It has elements that remind you it is a game (the mini-game destruction stuff), but other than that, for me, it feels like I am on an oppressive mining planet.  Well, it reminds me a bit of a longer version of Gun, but with a sci-fi world instead of a western, and it works.  It grabbed me the way the likes of Far Cry 2 failed to, eventhough I would consider both games similar.  Maybe the destruction of buildings makes the difference.

However, it does appear to be flying under the radar now still, and maybe it breaks a million sold.  Anyhow, anyone here want to comment on the game?  I have enjoyed it, and like a game where the mayhem isn't done just because you are an angry psychopath.
